Amused but Perplexed

That Les Habitants could lose the series after being up 2-0!

That people drive in and stay in the passing lane going the speed limit.
Our deepest needs make most of our decisions, not our thoughts or determinations.

Trusting is easy to say but not easy to do!

Knowing and Doing Leadership are two completely different things.

Boxing the Infinite into our modalities that work for us.

Being who I am rather than Being who I am supposed to be!

Losing touch with people who have made a difference in your life!

What are You Passionate About?

In my last post I referred to what I thought was Jesus' passion- that being us, people, humans, homo-sapiens (that's Latin for the 'wise or clever human' Fuller), you, me, us, we, whatever you want to refer to the common thread of what we consist of: Body, Heart, Mind, & Spirit.
So here is what I would like to know about you- what ignites your dreams? What is it that you would consider yourself daily living your dream? When you wake up in the morning what consumes your thoughts and energy? You may be living out your passion and you may be like me, just discovering what it is that drives you. I would like to know. I will share what I am passionate about in the comments box.

What's Your Passion?

Now that Good Friday and Easter Sunday have passed, I thought I would comment about my North American Christian perspective of what was celebrated concerning Christ's death and coming to life again. As I watched again (the second time) Mel Gibson's perspective of what happened in The Passion, I was amazed at my conclusion this time around. What I realized shocked me- Jesus' passion was humanity!
I have been focusing this past year on what drives me, what makes me tick and go from day to day. What are the things in my life that keep me getting back on my feet and running this race that we call life. I have come to some conclusions, but none of them as profound as Jesus' passion towards human kind. I have been wondering if the things that drove me suddenly turned on me and eventually beat me to the point of death, would I still be passionate about those things? This may be old news for you that Jesus was actually passionate about humans, but for me it has a new sense of "wow-ness" to it.

What are some of your thoughts?
